I trust that you all had a wonderful Christmas!  A Christmas full of the celebration of Christ, the Savior.  It seems as though I barely had time to get used to writing 2018, and here it is 2019, already!  The last month of 2018 was productive for our Lord’s work through Love From Above in Romania.

Support for Ovidiu (Ovi) Starlici, pastor of our new church in the village of Halchiu continued.  He had an amazing month – full of responsibilities, and none more important that being able to go into the schools in Halchiu, not only giving the children Operation Christmas boxes, but being able to share the Good News of Jesus!

We were also able to send a Christmas gift to Elisabeta Tompi in appreciation of her being overseer of LFA in Bahnea – and a small gift to Corina Popovici who works tirelessly with me in the ministry as translator, and so much more.

LFA also ships Christmas gifts for the children in Bahnea each year.  Elisabeta had put the gifts together in small decorative bags.  There are pictures of this on Facebook.  Just one little problem.  Sixty children received gifts, but one-hundred and twenty had shown up at her gate for a gift.  As soon as I learned that, I wired her money to get sweets for the rest of the children.

Once again, I got up in the middle of the night (December 21) to see our precious ‘kids’ from Barza Mica present their Christmas program.  I immediately went to tears hearing one after the other say, “Buna, (Hi) Mama Dawn”!  And once again, we blew kisses at each other and told how much we loved each other.

Also, for Christmas, I posted on FB a video of my granddaughter, Belle, and her little friends singing, ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ while trying to raise money for Love From Above!   I also posted a Flashmob video of some of my young friends in Romania – performed at a huge store called Auchan.  And, lastly, I posted a musical Christmas card from me to you playing ‘Silent Night, Holy Night’.

I look forward to 2019 – to see all that GOD has in His plans for this precious ministry in Romania, being His eyes and heart, hands and feet!
