Even though my return flight to MA from Romania was cancelled due to severe snowstorms in Germany on December 2, the airline was able to reschedule me for the next day.  It was disconcerting, for sure, but in the end, I praise God for a safe and uneventful trip to Boston.  After spending 5 months in the ‘other’ land that I love, it was even more difficult to leave – especially to leave our ‘kids’ at Barza Mica.

Before I left, I bought them all (the ones we regularly work with) a little Christmas bag of goodies.  I would dare say that it was the first time – ever – that they had received a present of  fun little trinkets and in their very own Christmas bag.  They were delighted, for sure.  Before I left I also made them another Pumpkin Pudding (pumpkin pie without the crust).

I was delighted that a dear friend, Paula Azoica who used to be on LFA’s Volunteer Team was able to visit our ‘kids’ at Barza – tell them a Bible story – and use her guitar to sing a lot of ‘uppie’ songs with the ‘kids’.  They love her so much and were just mesmerized by her music.

Robert Tompi also ministered to the ‘kids’ one day in November.  They truly love him – and love having him visit.  I have to say that Robert’s love for these ‘kids’ over the past 23 years is as great as their love for him.

Thank you for your continued prayerful and monetary support of Love From Above.  What a great team we make – and only one that our Lord could put together.  Because of you, we continue to provide all the meds for our ‘kids’ and ‘littles’, buy their food, provide them with clothing, repair to the buildings, and so much more.  I LOVE your hearts for HIS ministry, Love From Above in Romania and Ukraine.  PLEASE don’t forget Ukraine!!
