October was a busy and wonderful month for Love From Above – apart from my not being able to be in ‘the other land that I love’, Romania!

Meds were supplied to the two orphanages (Albina and Barza Mica) – and more than usual to Barza because of the heightened health situation around the world.

Potatoes, carrots, and onions were delivered for the whole Fall, Winter and Spring seasons (thank to all of you who give to make that possible!).  And money was provided to Barza for updating the interior – lots of paint, brushes, cloths, etc.

Also, we were able to send funds for ‘old’ Ana’s roof to be rebuilt.  Besides that, we provided Ovi’s monthly support and funds for the October taxes on Canaan, our church in Halchiu.

Once again, I don’t know what the situation is at Albina concerning COVID-19.  No one at the orphanage will take our calls.  This seems to  contradict the old adage, ‘no news is good news’.  I don’t think it’s good news at all.  Workers at Barza have had the virus, but seemingly, not our precious ‘kids’.

The epidemic is raging through Romania.  Schools are closed once again.  The hospitals are so far beyond capacity that they won’t admit any more people.  People just sent back home.  Sometimes, people drive around to different hospitals to see if there won’t be just one who will take their sick family member.

To end on a good note, LFA just shipped off 35 boxes of clothing, shoes and supplies to our beloved Romanians.  Praise God!! – and praise God for our shipper and for ALL of you who want to help with the shipping costs.  THANK you!!
